Theme: Computer modeling for medical device design in organs and tissues

The 3rd offering of this International Summer School will provide a venue for participants (graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, engineers from industry) with an exceptional opportunity to interact closely with and learn from prominent lecturers in an informal atmosphere. This week long Summer School will be held in historical Charleston, SC, USA.

Participants will be provided with computational modeling software, and hands-on tutorials and exercises will be emphasized. An interactive poster session will be held to provide an opportunity for participants to share their research work. In addition to technical activities, the Summer School will include several social activities and group meals, to encourage close interaction between participants and lecturers.

The registration fee for this Summer School is:

  • Students: $950
  • Non-student EMBS members: $1,100
  • All other non-students: $1,300

This fee includes accommodation for 6 nights (check in: June 18, 2023, check out: June 24, 2023), complimentary breakfast daily, and select other meals, and technical and social activities.
